The first time I first heard this song was about thirteen years ago in a bus ride accompanying my daughter to her school. There was a video in the bus that shows Eric Clapton singing Wonderful Tonight. From then on I was hook. I'm 60 years old lady now and this one is still one of my super fave. My midnight serenade along with Jersey Girl, Goodbye Yellow Brick Riad and Two Sides Now. Thank you Mr. Eric Clapton for your beautiful and soulful melodies and songs❤❤❤

I’ve traveled to around 30 countries and have heard this played in bars, clubs and restaurants in most of them. Some amazing versions, a testament of its agelessness. I have a copy of Clapton playing it that is 9 mins long and it has to be one of the best 9 minutes of pure perfection from start to finish. I just wish I knew when it was originally recorded.

I have loved this song ever since I was 15 year's old. My high school sweetheart and I went to his Senior Prom. As we danced to this song he sang these words to me. At the time I did have long blonde hair. I still have my long hair but it's no longer blonde! LOL but on a serious note I will forever cherish this song. And the night we danced to it.
