Pink Eye (also known as Acute Conjunctivitis) is a condition involving inflammation of the conjunctiva of the eye. There are 3 types of acute conjunctivitis: allergic conjunctivitis, bacterial conjunctivitis, and viral conjunctivitis. In this lesson, we discuss these 3 types, including the signs and symptoms, associated conditions and possible complications of having Acute Conjunctivitis.
