2021, I has the whipple procedure 5 weeks after being admitted into hospital pre diagnosis, . I woke up to 5 drains across my front body i couldn't get out of bed nor walk for 5 weeks, and in a wheelchair for 5 weeks after leaving the hospital. . No visitors in hospital it was post covid, I lost so much weight i was a like a belsen survivor, yes i was put on Crean Enzymes for life (and my weight has returned, ) plus chemotherapy. To date I am cancer clear and hoping for a bright future although I will never be the same fun loving person, I am positive and get on what the cards dealt me. and i have a fabulous family supporting me ... prior to all this, 2019 i had bowel cancer with chemotherapy and stoma, I thank god every day that I am still alive and my surgeons call me Mrs Miracle

It will be two years in February since my surgery. I feel great except for neuropathy in feet and fingers caused by chemotherapy...they say it will get better or even go away, so I am still hopeful. I thought I would have major digestive issues after the whipple, but things are quite ok as long as I stay away from super spicy foods or pizza..and take my enzymes which is very important. I also try to have little sugar and wine...not cut out but reduced
