I am a 24 year survivor of the Whipple procedure. My last child was six months old when I was diagnosed. He was my reason to survive! I had the surgery at St. Luke's in Houston. They saved my life. Mayo Clinic does about 500 Whipples a year. Survival is possible.

My father passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2007. He died in my arms. Two weeks after he was diagnosed, he moved into my house. I took him on vacation to Florida, and spent all the time I could with him. My fathers name was Francis. It was a great man, and an excellent father. He did
Have the Whipple surgery. He ended up living a year from the time he was diagnosed. I definitely would not suggest having surgery. It only gives you a couple months extra. My father was never jaundice though. He just said it was a bad stomach ache.

Pancreatic Cancer is terrible. It killed my lovely sister Maximilla Ino after completing her course of palliative chemotherapy and palliative radiotherapy. It's my plea to researchers to find ways of early diagnosis of this terrible disease. It's too unfortunate that even doctors and specialists confirm to us that this pancreatic Cancer is usually diagnosed at late stages 😢 too sad. May her soul rest in peace.

My mom died of pancreatic cancer. She had nausea, and back pain. She never had jaundice and didn’t develop constipation till on hospice and taking pain meds that caused it. I am angry however that it took 6 months from the first time she sought help for symptoms till the doctors finally tested her and confirmed cancer. By then it had spread. She died 3 months later. I feel like if they had given some urgency and not waited a month or more to order tests maybe she could’ve stopped it from metastasizing. I don’t know. All I know is since Covid, the medical industrial complex reminds me of the wait times I saw in Canada.

Each has a different experience. My father had cancer in the pancreatic bile duct. The symptoms known in the fourth stage. He died two months after the diagnosis. But even the day before he died, he did not lose courage. And he told me to be brave. But one thing always bothers me. He died with hunger. He couldn't eat even a single gram of food on the plate, he was vomit when he have.
On the day of my father's death, he cried because lack of energy. It was the first and last time he cried.

Great video! I'd love to see a segment on innovative treatments like OncoSil for pancreatic cancer. It's making waves in the medical field and could offer hope to many patients. Would be awesome if you could include it in one of your future videos!

I am 65yrs old and in Waikato Hospital NZ diagnosed with cancer of the pancreas, jaundis, brown pee and clay stools. If you are taking pain relieve I recommend taking a laxitive same time. I had a stent put in but it hasn`t worked so waiting for plan B
The cancer is at the head and advanced, the problem in NZ is my doctor treated unjabbed patients as dirty disease spreaders so I never went for my bi-anual check-ups plus they never answered the phone and when they did it was a 6 weeks wait. They have all the modern tech in this hospital but staff are still mandated so there is a workers shoratge to the brink of collapse .Given the toxic enviroment this world is in I have decided on homeopathy and a hyperbaric chamber rather as to go through hell to gain a year. In NZ we have the choice of life bill so if things get too rough it`s bye bye
