You can track the 404 error pages in your WordPress by using a free tool call Dead link checker. It’s a tool that will scan your entire website and domain for every sub page to see if there’s any 404 errors. What you can do is go to that website to use the free tool and put in your domain and click on search entire website. This will scan through your entire site and find dead pages and links in your site.

After you have found all of your 404 error pages, you can then download a plug-in to redirect all of those errors. This is good practice so that your website has a higher standing with Google and you don’t have any errors on your site. Website is graded upon how well all of your link structure works and all of your pages.

You don’t want 404 errors because if a visitor comes to that page. It’s not a good experience. And by finding all of these 404 pages and fixing them, You’re going to have a better standing in Google eyes. The whole idea of having our website in Google is to get the most amount of traffic and to have the best authoritative website.
