Tens of thousands evacuated as the Mayon volcano in the Philippines erupts

More than 6,000 villagers have been forced to evacuate from rural communities within a 3.7-mile radius of Mayon volcano’s crater in northeastern Albay province, provincial officials have said but added that thousands more need to be moved to safety.

Scary. I live on top of the largest volcano in the US🌋Yellowstone. If that thing blows, we are all f'ed! I've researched how much time my family and I would have to get to safety when it blows. We would have about 25 to 30 minutes. The k**l zone is pretty big. Even if we left town doing 120 MPH, we wouldn't be able to avoid the volcano/eruption. Ash would cover us and turn wet like concrete in the lungs. Hiding underground wouldn't work either bc of earthquakes, but going underground would be our closest hope of survival. No matter which way we tried to go (N, S, E, W, ) Yellowstone would cover the entire planet with ash and debris. Darkening the sky's, dropping ash, and there would be a considerable amount of sizwmec activity.
