This man respects the food so much, not making gimmicks and trendy food. Just good food that can be enjoyed

I used to own a fish and chip shop and we always fried in beef dripping which is what you call tallow. I also used to drop a lump into the mushy peas. The difference was staggering.

Our significant others are ALWAYS the biggest critics of our food, but will never say a bad thing about it if we’ve had a bad day and it’s not up to scratch 😂 she’s definitely a keeper! Hoping we get you back in Aotearoa soon Andy! I’d pay $60 on top of ticket prices to get your signature on a shirt and a photo with you at Armageddon 😂 I wonder if they’d invite you! 🤔

So basically. It’s the OG Lipid, and we should use it more.

I’d like to see a video on how to care for your oil / tallow. How to re-use it, filter it, how many times it can be used, disposal etc. Unless you make your own, it’s not a cheap ingredient, and re-using it makes a lot of sense.

In The Netherlands we had Ossewit in our fryers, which was 100% beef tallow. Until the low fat low cholesterol scare almost took it out of business. I’m happy it’s still on the mRket though.

It’s sad most restaurants and fast food places don’t use beef tallow anymore. It was so much healthier using tallow

There was a chippy in Helensburgh, Scotland called the Wee Kelpie that exclusively used tallow for their chips and frying the fish. It won them some sort of award for it too because people were amazed at the flavour. Tallow was the reason. Too many restaurants are using seed oils and I think they’re genuinely bad for human health. Embrace tradition

I use tallow on every steak I make and it makes such a huge difference in taste! I would 100% recommend using it!
