Section 1 of the 14th Amendment grants citizenship to "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof." The text of the amendment does not specify what "United States" means. Some physicists speculate that there are multiple parallel dimensions. Here, I refer you to the work of Max Tegmark and Brian Greene. It is possible that some of these other universes include other versions of the United States.

In your opinion as constitutional experts, does the U.S. constitution have dimensional lateral continuity? If so, are all people born in all versions of the U.S. entitled to citizenship in our iteration of the United States?
