Demo of amazing sounding Hughes & Kettner Tube Meister Deluxe 40.

Deluxe 40 is a very versatile amp, capable of loads of different types of sounds, almost any type of sound to be honest. It would simply be impossible to show them all. So this is just a little peek into some of those sounds, all sculptured to satisfy my personal taste.
What impresses me the most are the buoyancy (especially on clean or crunch type sounds), how well it carries the sound, no matter where on the neck you play. No something found in all amps and never at this price range. This simply sounds good compared to anything, regardless of price range.

I tried to make an effort not to use super expensive custom shop instruments few can relate too.
I know, I failed ones :-)

Great lil amp love mine! I don't have a cab at the moment so just use the speakers on my Marshall 1923C 50w 2x12 combo (V30 and a Heritage) or AC30HW2X with blue speakers...sounds great in both.

Nice review, I have recently purchased this head and honestly - it's one of my favorite pieces of music equipment .. I use, oddly enough with a PRS single cab 10".. I tested with 5151, marshall, fender, orange and other cabs, but the combo with the PRS cab was sounding the best. I'm sure it sounds great with other cabs too, excited to esplore.. anyways, nice video and I highly recommend this amp from my short 60 day experience . ty for the review

I just got the grandmeister 36 and couldn't be more happy. Wanted to see this in action to see if I was really missing anything out by not opting for the deluxe 40. Turns out they are not miles apart even the 18 sounds excellent.

Concise, articulate, well-organized and presented video review, Magnus; your chops are insane, too. I'm hoping the newly announced GM Deluxe 40 sounds this good; it would be nice if they stocked some better quality tubes in them, but I understand the need to meet a price point; if they had to cut corners anywhere, I'm grateful it wasn't on the construction or features of the amp itself.

Cool amp, cool demo. I really like the idea of the inbuild speakeremulator. The only question i really have is. Can i get high gain for metal like lead and rythm out of it?
Not djent levle, thats not my thing, but more for classic death and thrash.

Hello Magnus1 I just discovered your review, I think, for me its the best on this head. Your playing was tasteful and skillful. Very well done! Most cats are using IR cabinet simulation. I think your sound through the red box was a very usable starting point. I was quite amazed when I heard the Fusion sound that was very Holdsworth like! Bravo! I been considering this head. Is it a strong 40 watts? Cheers! HAPPY NEW 2022!!!
