This is not a thing in America.

I'll share something I learned from corresponding with American military officers. If you're writing to a superior officer or soldier, you close with "V/r, " which stands for "Very respectfully." If you're writing to a peer or subordinate, close with "R/" for "Respectfully." Use only these abbreviations; don't write out the words.
