The best part of this mission was when you got Osean troops to stop firing on each other just with your presence. It not only highlighted the chaos but also Trigger's growing role as a beacon of hope in these troubled times.

imagine this

you're an Osean soldier or Marine, and your unit is one of the units sent to take Tyler Island, the whole satellite network goes down just as you guys advanced past the landing zones, your comms are down and you can't distinguish friend from foe, your company/platoon gets pinned down by Erusean forces and they're tanks, most of your unit is either killed or wounded, you're running low on ammunition and your medics or corpsmen are desperately trying to tend to the wounded while under fire, your radioman is desperately trying to reach any friendly units on the radio but is only getting either static or frantic calls from other units that are in the process of being overrun or saying they're bugging out

as you and your remaining brothers-in-arms prepare to make a final stand against an overwhelming number of Erusean forces, all of a sudden you hear an unfamiliar voice on the radio, it identifies itself as an Osean Air Defense Force AWACS aircraft, callsign Long Caster, he tells your unit that the famed Long Range Strategic Strike Group(LRSSG) is here to lend you air support and informs you that a nearby unit will arrive shortly to take you and your unit back to the landing zone to evac out of the island. you and your comrades hear a jet engine roar past as you see an F-15 fly past, several seconds later another aircraft makes a past and shoots its missiles the Erusean tanks explode in fiery fireball and the accompanying infantry fall back and scatter, you spot one of the LRSSG aircraft fly low and dips its wings towards your position, at first you spot the usual Osean flag on the rudder then the markings catches your eyes and attention, its three scratch marks in the shape of a claw, its that famed Osean ace that took down countless Erusean aircraft and are feared by the Eruseans. several of your fellow men see it too and cheer just as a friendly mechanized unit/convoy or what's left of it, arrives and to take your men back to the landing zone. while inside the vehicle, your radioman turns the radio volume up and you all hear the chatter of the other units, the mood has changed, most are cheering and rejoicing seeing the LRSSG aircraft take out multiple Erusean targets both on the ground and in the air and here and there some guys mentioning the words *its Three Strikes*

PS
i just came up with cos i am currently quarantined due to exposure to a Covid contact and this thought came into my head after i finished playing the game

Complete anarchy. Tyler Island must be like a microcosm for the entirety of Usea at this point in time. It's pretty scary just thinking about it.

This song most evokes the sense of desperate war and chaos.

Easily one of the best from AC 7's OST. The violin drop with accompanying horns and drums gives me goosebumps, it's phenomenally emotional music.

On Ace difficulty this mission invokes fear in my soul...the ace in the F-35, (while most perceive as dumb like the other previous aces in the game), will scare you shitless in a last ditch attempt to protect those damn radical Tu-95 bombers...god and that’s not even referencing the ace named Calamity in the second to last mission daredevil...

The F-35 on this mission and the Su-57, callsign Calamity in Daredevil, ...I fear them the most in this game on Ace difficulty...

Urgent and beautiful. Best song of the OST.

I like how the background image appears at the drop in the beginning. Nice touch.

Pov:you are an army tank guy or a marine troop, you are sent to Tyler island.
Your comms are dead (the satellites are destroyed) and many units like your are cut off by Eruseans, you are asking for help but you hear only static. A few days later you hear something on the radio. It is an ally plane. It identificates itself as an AWACS Long Caster.
Long Caster said that there is air support. It's LRSSG. Suddenly, you see a Su-30SM pass by on full afterburner, and a few F-15 with it.
The Su-30SM identified the tanks nearby, shot missles on the enemy tanks and flew away. Others said "It is Three Strikes! We're saved!"
It was true. Shortly after, you saw a F-35 slam into the ground and explode. It had a strange paintjob. You went closer, to see who is the pilot of the F-35. It said "MANTIS". They couldn't see the name, because of the explosion, the paint on the plane was torn off.
Mantis was a callsign of an Erusean Ace. After 9 minutes, every ally in the area were on the coast, loading tanks, APCs, and SAMs into landing ships. Your unit did it too. You succeeded in this mission.
