Never discourage anyone from learning. No one has authority to stifle personal growth. Read. Put your earnest heart in your hands. Pray. If you have faith, God will answer.

If you tell me not to read it then it’s at the top of my reading list. All literature from that period is just a valid as any other. It was a man who decided to keep it out. Not God

If you read the entire Book of Enoch, you understand why they don’t want you to read the Book of Enoch.

I recommend whatever book you read be lead ALWAY by Holy Spirit cause He knows, guides and leads us into truth.
Apparently Jude thought it was inspired enough.
Do it with Holy Spirit Always then you can't go wrong.

I disagree. It's included in Ethiopian Canon. I don't think he proclaims to be the son of man. Constantly glorifies the son of man. It's definitely right about the fallen angels and the nephilim. Too much truth in one book, I say.

Another reason Enoch is so important, it helps the reader to understand the true shape of creation. Take confidence that we are living on an earth covered by the firmament and not some speck of dust in ever expanding nothingness.

But the book of Jude quotes the book of Enoch

The bible is not a mistake, and it contains no mistakes.. If the book of Enoch is not on the bible, or if it was purposely taken off the bible, whoever done it will reap the consequences in full, as we shall not add or remove anything from the Bible, which is God's inspired word.

With all respect, I read the book of Enoch, but I didn't find any errors or such claim(s).

As someone who has red the book of Enoch i would encourage every single being in the world to read and want to know more about. It talks about so much stuff from revelation thay was removed. The coming of Christ, birth of Christ, his sacrifice for us human beings to have a way to God. It talks about the beginning of witchcraft the true beauty of the heaven the angels from heaven. The worship of heaven, the awaiting of souls for judgement day. The tree of wisdom. Alot that brings you closer to God if you are atrue believe. It gives you the want to know and understand God and his amazing miracles and beautiful plans of the world. It shows how much of a forgiving God he is. Just read it yourself and you will thank me later. No body should stop you.

Hmm… 🤔
The Book of Enoch…

Should we read it or not?

Keep in mind the Book of Enoch (fragments), we’re found with the Dead Sea Scrolls.
The Ethiopian Bible has it within its pages.

The Book of Enoch does not provide details how one can be Saved.
But it offers a ton of knowledge, that people/ individuals at certain levels do Not wish to have exposed.

First,
Get a proper understanding the current scriptures. (Find an older Bible. Pre-90’s if you can)

Once a “proper” understanding of the Holy Scriptures, then you might have enough coursry knowledge to checkout Enoch 1. (The idea is not to become distracted towards Salvation).

Second,
Some individuals have a belief system that the Book of Enoch does fit into. (Some Seminaries and Bible schools fall into this category).

Third,
Check for a accurate translation.

In short, if you look at the Book of Enoch, strictly has a history book 📚 then you should be okay.

Remember, Bible first.
Then other text as your understanding grows.

I don’t believe that any of us have a say as to whether it belongs in canonical scripture or not. I find it best to pray to God before reading or researching anything considered pseudepigrapha and God will guide your mind to make the right decisions and will grant you the wisdom to see. James 1:5-7; Ephesians 1:17; Daniel 2:21 🙏🏻

Here we go, man telling you what is god and inspired by god. Is god the deceiver…. Or man. Council of Nicaea look it up. And just a little fyi If there is a middleman or a person between you and god or god is only celebrated in a certain building…it’s called religion…aka man. Religion binds you…faith frees you

Do you know what is not inspired? New Bible versions NIV, ASV, ESV. Revelation 22:14
King James Version
14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Revelation 22:14 New International Version
14 “Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. This is what you should warn people about. Look at the difference

If The Book of Enoch is so bad, why was it removed from The Bible? Remember it clearly states not to add or remove from The Word…..There for, some man, decided upon himself to remove The Word….

I dont see the book of Enoch as scripture but as his own personal account like a diary of what he saw that caused gods anger to judge the world it fits right into Genesis 6

The book of Enoch was part of the Bible, it was removed due to it's nature. I thought such was common religious knowledge.

The one tip you forgot, is to pray on it! Maybe it’s from the Bible maybe not but to know is to pray and fast on it. God’s word cannot be corrupted!

Enoch is the book that declares in great detail the end from the beginning, and points your directly to Christ who was hidden until his revealing. I suggest picking up a kJV cross reference by Ronald Brown. Enoch, Jubilees, 2 Ezra are excellent scriptures that help fill in the gaps of the common US cannon of 66. Cannons are hand picked by men BTW.

This man is right, you need to read the bible first, namely the New Testament to get that foundation. The book of Enoch is interesting and but the key question is ‘is it inspired by God?’ Maybe/ maybe not. The bible does refer to the book of Enoch but wether what we have access too is the legit book on Enoch is another question.
