I would appeal it - not that it will get a fair review... It's clear to me that your original video was a) educational and b) very clear on the point that people who review products and other videos do need a way to download YT videos to get video to pull into their review. That IS fair use. So its fair use to use it, but not fair use to explain to others how we do it?!?!?! WTF YT!!!!

I manage live streaming equipment for several local groups. Turns out YouTube decided all the groups must be owned by me (they aren't), so when one of them had a community strike due to a bogus flag, they decided to mass delete several of the other channels when we went ahead and streamed from them. Mind you, the group that got the strike was a hardware development group, where as the ones that got deleted ranged from software to a local Asian culture club. The only thing most of these groups did on YouTube was stream.
BTW, the original strike was appealed successfully, as the original claim was "Hate Speech", for a video about how to setup an Arduino.

So ya, seems like their current approach is to ensure if there is even a suggestion of causing a problem, to nuke you from orbit. Just be careful out there.

Since your flagged video is from March 2018, I think it's more likely a self-righteous person stumbled upon your video months later and did indeed report it. It doesn't seem likely to me that youtube's AI algorithm would have flagged this. My two cents. I enjoy your channels. Cheers.

Have one of you employees livestream the move on their youtube channel, the YT penalties don't include you appearing in someone else's vid. Unrelated, perhaps drop a recommendation in your next vid for a channel that's worth following.

What's the most annoying part is that YouTube doesn't first have a talk. I hate companies or governments who just give strikes or fines right away without knowing the complete context.

Anybody trying to make an income from youtube in 2018, need to rethink, When you see how they ignore things like direct marketing to kids and "softporn" like Jake Paul but others like as Cody and EEVblog get hit over and over

I do piano cover versions of songs... I take the "copyright infringement" notices as a compliment! But seriously, all these strikes do is punish and "strike" fear into the legit youtubers. Especially for someone like you who's been uploading quality/legit content for years, pretty poor form to suddenly threaten you with account termination.
