I have been on many flights around the country on different airlines. I have NEVER seen a menu in the seat front pouch. Maybe in first class, but definitely not in economy.

I think FAs should be trained well to know that not all passengers are savvy travelers with upfront knowledge on what drinks you serve and the secret menu within the pamphlet and magazines stuffed in the seat pockets. I say this from the pov of my elderly relatives who rarely travel and sometimes have difficulty understanding the accent and get nervous, hence the delays. So FAs must also be patient.

P.S. AND flight-attendant's duties are mainly not to perform excellent restaurant/hotel-service (that's just a side task):
Saving lives in bad, unexpected situations is the main duty and every flight-attendant always keeps that in mind (aggressive passengers, health-issues, mechanical failure, weather-problems, hijacking, bomb-threatening, failed landing etc.).

One of my friend is a flight crew who told me why they always rush to make their drinks. They have to serve 100 to 200 ppl during smooth ride. They always thinking about unexpected turbulence that's why they want to serve the beverages for everyone asap.

Well, as a flight-attendant I must say:
That's a 'narcist- issue'.
Short flights do not leave much time to work-out a fancy idea for a drink...many more passengers have the right to be served as well.

I’ve never seen any type of menu In the seat pockets when I’ve flown within the United States …are you referring to international flights?

I will have to start thinking about looking for the drink menu.
The water for the coffee and tea are held in the onboard water tank, which might not be cleaned as often as it should be.

excuse me? why would an attendant HATE somebody for asking what drinks they have? especially given that choice is very limited (max 10 types of drinks usually).

If I pay $6 for a coke, they better wait those five seconds until I‘ve decided on what I want to drink. It’s their job ffs.

It’s their job. It bothers him because somebody is prepared to answer their question of what they want. Maybe they should get another job!

I do realize what cheap airlines I fly with when she said that coffee, tea, juice and soft drinks are included. Haha when I fly you don't even get a little cup of that water from the uncleaned watertank for free 😂

Why in the world should I care what the flight attendants hate while they perform their role? I pay hundreds to thousands of dollars to fly the airline of my choice. While their duties are important, it IS their job to carry them out.

I have flown many times and never knew that there was any drink menu except for alcohol, which I don't drink.

Similarly, when it comes time for a flight travel video one thing viewers hate is to be told what to do and treated like children by clueless content creators!

This is what we call 'Funny Style' some people do the same thing at a fast food restaurant, get up to the cashier then act like they never been there before
