Tomb Raider I Full Walkthrough (No commentary)

TR1 Should be the unforgettable memories for most of people back then. Mine started in TR2. Now, finally I can have the time to enjoy TR1 for the first time in my life. Huge thanks to my mods, who helped me pack games together for me 😀

Story
In 1996 India, Calcutta, Lara Croft has returned from an expedition to capture Bigfoot and is relaxing in the Imperial Hotel when she is approached by a Texan man named Larson. Larson introduces her via videoscreen to his employer, Jacqueline Natla, the owner of Natla Technologies. After failing to sway her with money (Lara only plays for sport), Natla asks for her assistance in acquiring a piece of a talisman known as the Scion, an ancient artifact located in the lost tomb of Qualopec, located in the mountains of Peru. Intrigued, Lara agrees to make the journey

To those who miss the second secret at 4:57, you need to press Action key along with forward to grab this, jumping will not get there as you miss it by just a few pixels. hope this helps for people who missed out :)

Only 4 hours! Lol I remember how it took me months to beat the game. I spent a whole month stuck in the cistern because I missed an underwater passage which led to a switch you have to activate in order to progress. I played every night, in absolute desperation, thinking and thinking till I saw that passage. No guides, no internet, no youtube, no playthroughs... Those were the days.
I always say that nothing feels so Tomb Raider as the first Tomb Raider. The music is pure magic and mystery.
So many good memories.

Ah, nothing beats the original Tomb Raider! I loved everything about this game, from the locations, interesting levels, cool story and puzzles, to the iconic classy but mysterious music. Its just one of those things that never gets old or boring. Like a movie you could put on constantly and it never looses its charm (cough Empire Strikes Back cough). Thanks Steven for taking the time to play the original TR. You get through so fast but skilled. I normally take 6 hours not 4.

This brings back old memories. This is the first PlayStation 1 game I ever played. I was in my forties then and this new 3D gameplay was new and fascinating to me at the time. I got hooked on these games. I'm in my late 60s now and I will occasionally pull these games out and play them again.

Back in the old gaming days, when music played a key role building up tension and mystery. Also, enemies where hidden and could jump scare you. Most of them where animals too. Tomb Raider is a real gem when it comes to PS1 games.

I remember when I bought this game for my Playstation. I was 15 or so.
I was really scared at times because you never knew what was lurking around the next corner. And the whole general atmosphere was so good because of the sounds that you always felt really lost and alone.

In today's parts of the series you always have so much action and story that even in the biggest temples you don't have the feeling of being alone anymore.

Here, in the past, you were really on your own and had to see how you got on. Just like in real life. 😄

Boy this brings back memories. I had just come off active duty (army) and I remember hanging out with my late father who loved to play this . We had some good times together. He just passed 2 years ago dying from a heart attack while getting a liver transplant. I just started playing my collection of tombraider games since I’m now retired and think about him always.

This is one of the first ever non-mario games my mom let me play as a kid and it has so much nostalgia for me even now at 30 years old. It's just so good.

I played this in 1996 when I was 24, just finished replaying it. Of course everything aged a lot but I will never forget how revolutionary this game was, especially when I later bought a 3dfx card. Literally the first time when a game did not look pixelated anymore. Thanks for the guide, needed it a lot 😅

First game I got with my ps for Christmas, my parents were so excited they opened it and started paying it before Christmas, and realized how challenging it was so got me the guide book for it too, took me forever to get through that 11 years old haha

I'm here to join the Tomb Raider love!! I loved the journey of playing through this game so long ago. It awakened me to so many beautiful mysteries, aesthetics, and mythologies. I'm grateful to the OGs.

I love the thought of a forgotten and hidden colosseum when the real one is ini plain sight in real life. I love even more that I loved it's inclusion in the game so much that I didn't notice it was underground in the game, haha

It was my first 3D game... So much memories. Picked it up randomly and then waited for sequels patiently.

You have the smoothest play style for these games, every jump and angle is crisp and you hardly make a single mistake, especially your TR2 vid.... amazing work, you're seriously talented!

Brings back memories! My older sister played the o.g. tomb raiders back in the day and I remember watching her play them as a toddler.
