WP Cone Valve Forks on my 2022.5 KTM 450 Factory Edition

Picked up a new 2022.5 KTM 450 Factory Edition. This bike is all new and very different from my 21.5 KTM 450 Factory Edition. After a few rides I installed my favorite set of WP Cone Valve spring forks. I've owned these forks for over three years and have installed them on (3) previous KTM 450's. I was curious to see how these WP CV forks would work on the all new chassis. After spinning a few laps I can say they are still my favorite set of forks and they made the new chassis feel even more planted with such good front tire contact patch feel. WP Cone Valve forks are expensive and being able to move them from bike to bike for many years helps justify that high initial cost. And you don't have to be a pro level rider to appreciate the supple friction free movement over the little chop or excellent bottoming resistance when coming up short or over jumping. These forks also respond well to clicker changes and work great off road opening up the clickers.

Rode a set of these on a mutual friends 300xc in the mountains of idaho. I was blown away. Just can’t afford something like that.

ktm has been making these for so long I cant imagine that they could cost that much to manufacture and put on consumer bikes. wp suspension is the only thing from keeping me buying a ktm again.

Isnt new new chassis forks little bit lower than the 19 - 22 chassi forks?
