What about Mid day meal scheme in schools in India?

I can't belive, even an educated man like Mr. Pai is so ignorant about history and truth! Mr. Kamarajar is the one who started the free Mid-day meal plan in Tamil Nadu when he was chief minister to woo particularly rural poor children to school. His finance minister Mr. C Subramaninan was resisting the plan but Mr. Kamaraj implemented the plan 1962-63 school year. Also he started a High School for every three miles in TN.
