Fascinating talk. When people like Mr Pai speak passionately about ancient Indian civilization n traditions they are labeled Right Wing bigots by pseudo liberals in India. We Indians should take pride in our ancient ethos and values proactively not after approval from the West, as we do with yoga, ayurveda, etc.

Excellent argument by Sri Pai. Good understanding of one’s culture will surely raise one’s self-esteem.
Indian schools should teach literature and culture separately from teaching language. Good understanding and use of language is necessary for economic and social progress of individuals. Even inexact understanding of accurate and authentic literature and culture of one’s motherland gives pleasure and raises one’s self-esteem.
