Andrew Tate is known for his misogynistic social media posts and videos claiming to be helping young men acquire lots of money, drive luxury cars, and pick up hot women. Tate is fighting a legal battle in Romania right now, but should parents worry about his influence on their sons? Before Tate was detained, Dr. Phil spoke with Richard Reeves, senior fellow at the Brookings Institute and author of “Of Boys and Men: Why the Modern Male is Struggling, Why it Matters, and What to Do about It”; Marilyn York, a men’s rights attorney; Imran Ahmed, CEO and founder of the Center for Countering Digital Hate; and blogger and author Rollo Tomassi. Plus, hear from a group of teenage boys who surprise their mothers when they share what they think about Tate. And, Robin joins the conversation. (21318RR)

The sad part is the mothers are doing their sons a disservice by co-signing these feminist talking points. It’s been proven over and over again that women desire strong men that don’t subscribe to this thinking.

Toxic masculinity doesn't exist, but toxic people do, regardless of gender.

It's hilarious how Dr. Phil caters to his predominately female audience. There was no discussion with Rollo. They just dismissed everything he said.

Dr. Phil didn’t notice how contradictory it is to say
1. That being said “needed” isn’t a marker of what constitutes a relationship for a man.
2. That his definition of a man is to provide and protect.

If the people in his life didn’t need protection and to be provided for his definition of a man would completely dissolve. He is in complete agreement with Rollo.

He pulled the famous ‘what are you thinking’ to ‘what are you talking about’ on Rollo. Rollo knows what’s up

Respect to Rollo for sticking to his beliefs and not pandering to the audience with those predictable signs of incredulity.

Ah yes. Dr. Phil catering to his older audience who have no husband, a cat and no partner. Keep it real Phil, these women end up dying without a partner/husband. I see this all the time workin in the medical field.

Dr.Phil just arrogantly dismissed facts Rollo stated that are statistically accurate. I lost all respect for Dr.Phill as a "professional"

They cut Rollo out, he made great points that didn’t make the edit (such a shame)

Dr Phil says their is a pay gap, yet on Joe Rogan he literally says hes terrible at maths lol. Nobody who is terrible at maths has any possible chance of understanding advanced economics and statistical concepts. Lazy men have and will always be the most dangerous in society. Rollo talking about Homer Simpson while Dr Phil is a carbon copy of Homer is the most hilarious thing I have ever seen.

Dr Phil loves ctaering to the old lonely women who are either divorced or alone with cats.

Dr. Phil cannot relate to Rollo's viewpoint because he has not experienced it. His wife is living life at the top of the food chain and has no reason to leave. Seems to me that she also has dropped some money on remaining young looking so her husband doesn't stray towards younger women. He can act like he has a June and Ward Cleaver marriage but I bet the boat has just about flipped over a few times also. You cannot talk about the trenches unless you have been in them.

Damn Dr Phill has a LOT of hot air especially that BS speech at the end

The kid that said he watched about 87 videos from Andrew got me laughing. Who would keep that count and say it like it's an estimate?

Rollo did not say ''Toxic Masculinity is not a problem'', that would imply that he thinks that masculinity is a problem, that is just a word salad used by Dr Phil and his team to discredit what Rollo Tomassi has said.

Andrew Tate is an arrogant jerk, but most of what he says about heterosexual gender relations is true (unfortunately). Bad boys who are dangerous and break the rules get the women. Why is that? Because like it or not, those are the men that modern women choose. On a logical level women desire a good man who will treat them right, but when they try dating one, they get bored and dump him to go back to the exciting bad boys. That's life. Sadly, the boys featured in this episode will be ill prepared for that eventuality.

His monologue at the end is literally the same thing Tate preaches

Definitely seems like because he's been in a successful marriage so long that he's become blind to male issues in the dating/parenting world. And it's laughable that they have such an issue with Tate yet there's no mention of how guys are supposed to navigate in a society influenced by Cardi-b, Kim K or Danielle "Bhad Bhabie" Bregoli.
