I am Mexican I lived in apartments. My mom was a cleaning lady for a hotel and was never home. My neighbor a older black women noticed and offered to take care of me and my mom accepted and would pay her weekly but she would always refuse payment. She would feed me, sing to me, etc etc always telling me story’s of her grown children that she already had. This song in particular was her favorite song. I don’t know where she is or how she’s doing anymore as she moved to her dream home in Florida so I just really fucking wish she’s doing amazing. Anyways just wanted to share that cuz I feel like she’ll search this song up one day on YouTube 😭
