I loved the movie back in the 80ies and always enjoyed Silvestri's combination of a classical instrumentation and rhythm oriented pop sounds like in this track of the score. As this is a channel primarily about music and only indirectly about the world of movie making, this comes as a footnote: I can't help it reevaluating movies with children in key roles I watched when I was younger. It's because the question "What became of those kids?" not always leads to a cheerful answer. In the case of Joey Cramer, the star of Flight of The Navigator, there is more than one answer, there's a whole documentary: Life After the Navigator. A good one.
