Fan Fic: The Day Tom Riddle Killed His Father And Grandparents

Hey guys so there’s a particular moment from the books that we never actually got a dialogue for and that was the day Tom Riddle travelled to Riddle Manor to confront his father and as we know ended up killing him along with his grandparents. I know I’m not the only one who would have loved for JK Rowling to expand on this and give us the actual scene but it wasn’t to be. So I’m going to create it. With that being said I want you all to understand that this isn’t a fan fiction where I add in new characters or create new journeys, I am simply just trying to fill in a gap so with that being said, let’s set the scene and go from there. This is The Day Tom Riddle Killed His Father And Grandparents.

In the books, frank brice explains to the police that he had seen tom around the manor but never spoke to him. He was seen near the manor the day of the riddles deaths, but he was probably on his way to the gaunt shack. Because the muggle police initially arrested frank bryce on suspicion of the murders.

Very well done. I greatly enjoy your interpretation of how that scene would have gone.

I wish I could give more than one like on this video. I always wanted to see that scene at least in the films but unfortunately it didn't make it into the film. Thank you for creating this scene! The pictures and the dialogues were great and authentic. I absolutely loved it

This is a fascinating interpretation of a pivotal moment in Voldemort's past that the books only mentioned in brief detail.

Perfect. Fanfictions I found paled to your telling. There ought to be a fan film that shows us Voldemort's Horcrux Quest.

I never thought that he would have had a conversation with his father and grandparents I thought he just went there and killed them. Nor did I think that he would have any conversations with the young caretaker Frank Bryce

a couple of things. 1: Frank Bryce remembered seeing young Tom Riddle going up to the house when he gave his account of events to the muggle police, as Frank himself was the main suspect until the police didn't have any evidence to convict him.

2: The last wand spell cast in these events was the avada kadavra curse from Morfin Gaunt's wand, as was proven when the ministry of magic arrested Morfin for the crimes. If Tom had performed a memory charm on Frank Bryce it would have either blown his cover or it would have been proved to have been the last spell cast from Morfin's wand. (keep in mind Tom was still under age and had the trace on him at the time)

3: I don't believe a conversation between Frank Bryce and Tom Riddle ever actually took place, Frank only saw Riddle by the house that day.

Aside from that it's not an implausible account.

Obviously Voldemort wasn’t new to killing innocent people, but his father was the definition of innocent, simply because he was seduced by Voldemort’s mother

Wow I always blamed voldy for getting rid of his dad but after hearing what he said to him, instead of understanding he blamed his son who had no say in the matter... Avada kadavra!

Pretty good. Interesting take on the bewitchment. Imagine knowing that you are somehow being controlled and not being able to do anything about it.

To be fair, if you were raised in an orphanage and then you find out your rich dad is actually alive and fully capable of parenting you. I'd be annoyed too

Very instructive, 😈
But Frank Brice still remembered seeing “a teenage boy, a stranger, dark-haired and pale.”
