Theres a theory that the producers would look for any opportunity to make it seem like maddie wasnt happy for her, so if she stopped smiling for 1 sec the whole award ceremony, thats the clip they would put in the show. Explanation Mackenzie beat Maddie in the solo dance, and Maddie was jealous so she was angry, and McKenzie said one thing and her mom yelled at her to shut up and then Maddie said you to. to her mom. Her mom is playing favourites when Maddie is acting badly and inappropriately she comforts her and allows her to act like that, and McKenzie gets yelled at to shut up right away when she’s done nothing wrong.
