EXPLANATION----

The producers would stretch the the image out snd show the moms and the judges and show the same image over snd over again, to Make it look like Mackenzie was standing there for a long time but she was only there for a about 2 seconds.

Yes if you see the episode then you can hear Kenzie saying to kendall that she only forgot the dance for a sec but in the episode you can see that she forgot for almost 5 sec which is a long time so I agree that maybe the producers made it look like she didn't remember it for some time..
