Classic match. These two we're great technical wrestlers and they put on a wrestling clinic. One of my favorite matches of all time.

Youngsters should know that this match was routinely mentioned as the greatest in WCW Nitro history, along with Sting vs. DDP from 1999. Sadly it has been erased by WWE and many wrestling pundits refuse to celebrate it anymore, because of Benoit's actions. It's a shame, because Bret deserves high acclaim for this match.

Benoit had a very agressive way to fight in the ring. Even if it's scripted, his punches and kicks looked so brutal, like they are real punches, to me it seems. Sincerely, Bret really took a beating here, also I remember the match with Benoit and Triple H, for WHC I think, in 2002 or 2003, Triple H was like a cow or tree lifted up by a tornado.
