My father believed that he actually met an angel and he believed in guardian angels. So he was at basic training. He had been pulling targets at the range. He was in a chair he had been sitting in for days and a Lieutenant walked up to him. He was young and the best looking man he had ever seen. Like this guy could have been a movie star. Only thing was except for the rank insignia he didn't have a name or anything else. No medals nothing... He called my father by his first name and gently told him. "You aren't meant to be seated here. I want you to move to that chair." My father snapped up and said "sir yes sir" and moved. A few minutes later a ricocheted bullet struck the chair my dad had been in. The Sargent was pleased that my dad wasn't hit but didn't understand why he moved. When my dad told him that a Lieutenant told him to move the Sargent informed my dad that there were no lieutenants on base.

I really love how Infographics took on this subject with the assumption that the source material is completely credible. Not once did they try to discredit the bible or it's believers and even made the distinctions of what is and isn't considered canon. It's a very mature and sensitive approach to a subject that many would use as an opportunity to mock others. Good on ya.

This reminded me when I was in basic. I was taking my PT test doing the push ups, I couldn’t do the minimum required to pass. I prayed for God to give me strength when I was gonna give up.
