THANK YOU! used a ratchet strap for the John deer 360, my sister learned to use it after my dad passed and it’s just been one thing after another!

Just found your video today because my snow thrower had a flat tire and wouldn't take air--clearly the bead was broken. I put a ratchet strap around it, similar to what you did, cranked down a little on it and turned on the air compressor. I had to put a little of my own body weight on it because it's such a small tire but it worked! Saved me time for sure, now I'm ready for any possible snow this winter. This was a great find. :-)

DUDE. THANK YOU. So helpful. Now my kids can ride their pedal car again after the beads came undone over winter. Appreciate you!

I sure want to thank you for this tip. I had my log splitter tire come off the rim. I used a ratcheting tie down strap and it worked perfectly. You saved me half a day!

Great video and definitely safer than the "other" method. I had to do this on my lawn tractor and used a double loop of 550 paracord with a 1" dowel to tighten the cord. Worked perfectly after using a rubber mallet to get the sidewall as close to seated as possible. Thanks for sharing!

Ratcht strap, Worked amazing on a skid steer tire I pushed off bead from running with too little air pressure. Awesome idea, thank you!

Lol. I tried all that with mine. No way no how, comolong, ratchet straps, block & tackle, wasted a crap load of time. The ole faithful can of either, BOOM, and we were done. Love it! Bought a few xtra cans for the shelf! 😉😛

I used to do the same thing with a ratcheting strap! It was light, and easy to use. However, someone stole my straps so I gave your chain method a try. I did the same thing, only I did not use the come along device. Instead, I inserted a long screwdriver between the links and gave it a twist. I removed the air valve first, wrapped the tire with my chain, gave it a twist with the screwdriver, added air, twisted it a bit more, and watched it pop! Great method! The strap was easier, but this definitely worked for me. Thanks!

You just saved me a lot of work and a trip to the tire service! I used a 1" ratchet strap and it worked like a charm! Thanks a bunch!

This worked amazingly for my rear-tine rototiller! Used a thicker ratchet strap instead of a chain. Hat to rotate it and thump it with my fist a few times and bam! Took air and worked perfectly. Thank you very much. I live in the country as well and I would definitely put this toward the top of my list of things to know out here.

Used this trick on a John Deere d110 lawn tractor with a ratchet strap and it works great. Saved me a bunch of hassle.

This method worked like a charm! My issue was a smaller tire on a boat trailer so I only needed to use a ratchet strap. With a few taps from a small sledge hammer and some time for the rubber to relax the tire seated perfectly. Thanks very much for this.

Thank you for your great video! Had same first failed attempt, tightened it up, hit with hammer and boom! Back up and running, learning from your video saved us a day of work!

i have found that if you take out the valve stem and use a blow gun to add air it tends to seat the bead quite well
