Correlation Design Explained

If a scholar desires to understand the extent in which two or more variables relate to one another, then a correlation design may be appropriate for the investigation.

A correlational study may be a correlation study or a predictive study.
Correlation studies aim to examine if a variable or set of variables (i.e. variables of interest) are associated with another variable or set of variables. For example, To what extent, if at all, is there an association between high school students’ engagement with comprehensive school counseling services and their GPAs?
