A man threw rocks onto the 110 Freeway in Los Angeles on Thursday morning, causing a motorcycle crash and multiple flat tires. KTLA reports on Thursday, May 30, 2024.

In most of California, this would be looked at as a mental health crisis, not a crime here. I doubt the guy will be arrested and even if he was, he'd be fingerprinted, photographed, and released back on the streets, with nobody from the DA's office filing any charges. Here, you're allowed to be whomever you wish to be. No consequences.

Dude very likely has cooked his brain so bad. That he thought he was saving them. As a person who's unfortunately a relative of a meth user. That dude likely is going to pull this crap, again. I wouldn't doubt a catch and release of the man. Even if he were locked up, I don't think it'll do much good. He'll likely get a certain amount of time. Then get released... repeat.
