Ok so I scored 6/10 and I would have mentioned Hobbiton, but I lived there before LOTR. So now we just have to get the narrator to pronounce a few place names correctly, as well as how to say the word "Māori" ;-)

when i hiked the abel tasman years ago i booked one of the campsites normally just visited by kayaks for a break or an overnight stay and what can i say. i was the only one on the site after tea time and had the, in my opinion, most beautiful and most quiet place in the world for myself the whole late day, night and morning. Still my happy place.

I live in Auckland New Zealand and am 5 to 10 minutes from a beach. My favourite is Piha's black sand beach. Amazing surf.

One of my favourites is Lake Tekapo in the South Island. There is something magical about Lake Tekapo that is hard to describe until you actually go there and feel it.

I went skiing on Mt. Ruapehu when I was there in New Zealand. I didn’t know it was Mt. Doom of LOTR. I’ve been dreaming of visiting each film sites of LOTR. Didn’t know I was able to go to Mt. Doom already, if I knew I would have taken more memorable snaps. 😃 But it’s ok. I’ll do it the next time I visit NZ. 😁

I liked new zealand . Went their 30 years ago to Wellington to visit cousins their where they took us to an adventure park in one of the towns that had dodgem cars, roller coasters and canoes and a big pirate ship and castle. Which was fun.
