The Rolling Stones have been talking about their big name collaborations on their new album.

Guitarist Ronnie Wood said Lady Gaga and Stevie Wonder were both involved in Hackney Diamonds - although Gaga seemed a bit shy about once taking part in the studio.

I was raised listening to their music almost 60 years ago...and still listen to them...legends of rock & roll

To this generation, they might look like just a bunch of old men, but in reality, they defined a generation of music. What they created decades ago set the standards for their contemporaries, and it still rocks to this day.

My grandma saw these guys perform on the pier just as Titanic set sail from Southampton. Amazing how long they've been going!

Absolutely loving the new song. It's obviously not as good as their classic work but it's incredible to see how they continue to deliver new music year after year. That being said, it's also a reminder that there's a need for a new generation of rock music to inject fresh energy into the genre. There's a band here in New Zealand called The Doublejumps ticking the boxes for me at the moment. I try to tell as many people about them as I can because rock has such a rich history, and it's crucial that young artists pick up the torch and push the boundaries some more.

I’ve never been a fan of Rolling Stones’ music but it is super impressive how durable their career has been!

I'm sure Lady Gaga is thrilled to hear Ronnie phrase it like that.

Angry and Sweet Sounds of Heaven are (in my opinion) the best stuff The Stones have done since the 70's. I can't wait for the album.

I love the Stones. I grew up with them, but not from the beginning. I started listening to them in the early 70's and from then for about a decade after. I went back often to the early albums. Some of their stuff was genius. Early tracks by the Stones are still very much appreciated today and I am only 61, so I don't go as far back as my older brother's generation.

Jagger is like an older family member. He was there at birth, my childhood, and adulthood. He will probably outlive me!

Rock and Roll had its place in history just like other genres before it. As it fades out of popularity...I can look back and think, out of the 100s to 1000s of years of musical history, how lucky I am that I lived in the same era.

I wondered if mick would acknowledge that music is very subjective. He did.

In this clip Mick Jagger does not say that to Lady Gaga.

Yeah, as an artist in the presence of The Stones, I'd imagine it to be a very humbling, and waiting-to-be-directed moment. I don't blame her for awaiting "permission to come aboard" lol.

In a world of so many old fashioned troubles and worries, its terrific to have something to hold on to. Go the Rolling Stones, and all the Artists who contributed to this Album.
