Can You Beat Tears of the Kingdom With Only The Master Sword?

This run was a lot of fun to do! Even though the rules weren't the same, @Limcube's Master Sword only run inspired me to do this one!

All fusion materials give exactly 25 durability, so concentrate on getting the most damaging ones as this will save you the most swings.

You don't need the geoglyphs: the dragon follows a predictable path aroudn all of the glyphs so just use the skyview tower just east of Hyrule Castle where there's three geoglyphs right next to each other and you'll find her in no time.

Depending on the game version, you could always use the weapon dupe glitch to get yourself the prologue "msg not found" master sword.

I did this challenge too. The sword constantly breaking on the Construct was so annoying. Watching this and learning I could've just spin attacked is painful.

Watching the geoglyphs doesn’t actually lower her, rescuing the Deku tree does

She will be lowered for the whole swoop part of the last one though so that’s helpful if you already have the second wheel, but I didn’t when I did the glyphs and she went right back to her sky-high path until I saved the tree

It should be though, since fusion actually doesn’t change its name, and the fused material becomes invisible after approx 10 seconds.
But people always have something to nitpick about.

Edit: “Bargainer Statue” That’s a different statue. You mean the Horned Statue.

The fact that you beat this glitchless, I can think of a bunch of glitches that could help this just made the video even more juicy

FYI you could have reached the horned statue, although you have to progress the main to get the easy way to the statue, you can enter the other end of the cave in Hyrule castle.

Additionally, I believe you could retrieve the Master Sword without upgrading your stamina as, unlike the last game, you can use food buffs to increase your max stamina.

fun fact, even though the bargainer statue is unavailable until completing a dungeon via lookout landing, you can access it through the tunnel connected under hyrule castle. It does require a bit of patience and hammers/lots of bomb flowers- but it's possible. I wanted to do a 3 heart run for a while, and considering the game forces you into getting a 4th to get off the great sky island, i found this workaround to trade the 4th heart for stamina.
