Tim Keller & The Gospel Coalition bringing Marxism into the church? (Liberalism Exposed)

Tim Keller admits he has been greatly influenced by what he calls Neo-Marxists. He is also beloved by many social elites. That's a red flag (no pun intended).

Thanks for this. Tim Keller posted a blog post about racism and it raised some alarms. This confirms my hunch that something is off about him.

Doing some research on Keller/TGC, and suddenly I realize the video I'm watching is posted by none other than Dr. Watchdog! How are you brother? Thanks for the helpful upload!

The fault isn’t Calvinism
The fault is the heart of men

Can you please tell me who is the speaker in this video? He nailed it! I want to hear his messages.

Keller denies Jesus as the Only Way. Period. He has said that there can be a trapdoor for unbelievers into Heaven. Jesus Christ Himself disagrees. John 14:6 for reference.

Protestantism when followed to its logical end leads to anarchy. Orthodoxy is the only remedy.

I have two queries here:

How did it happen at Harvard? Seems like they fell for Ralph Waldo Emerson as Gospel, not anything the progressive wing of the church is doing. The larger point may be true, but I'm curious about the assumed warrant or justification for his claim. I'm not sure the extent to which the Social Gospel might have played a role as well. Is there an essay or article about the history of the theological slip at Harvard such that I can better understand this context that. he is attempting to allude to?

How do the five points apply to the specific individuals we are talking about? I don't see how Tim Keller is doing any of those five things. Keller may lean left on some issues, but that doesn't make him a Marxist. That's to confuse and conflate what it takes to be a Marxist. Keller still seems to take scripture and the habits it enocurages to be very serious--in fact the most serious ethical duties on our lives.

The basic claim "We disagree about the science or theology of Biologos" (summarized point) doesn't really prove any of the above, much less all five points. Not to mention, not fully coming to account for genre concerns in Genesis or dealing with the deep historical textual debate on these issues. Seems like whistling past the grave yard to bit.

This video is full of half-truths, bias, disrespect (e.g. calling others “garbage”) and divisiveness. The Gospel Coalition website is a huge blessing to millions of faithful, Bible-believing and gospel-sharing Christians and it has been for me, too. It would take me too long to address each point you mentioned, but to call Tim Keller a "Neo Marxist" because he is concerned about the poor - as many Bible passages and Jesus himself ask us to do is laughable. By the way: To quote certain people or to be published in certain magazines does not mean one fully endorses their theology - Keller tries to reach out to people, just as Jesus and the Apostle Paul did. This is far more helpful than your spiteful piece and building your theological bunker from which you attack others.
