Nice comparison cook. I'm really enjoying the Smokin' Pecan Pellets. 👍

I'm so impressed with these pellets. I used them 1st on my Ninja Woodfire Outdoor Grill. I usually get more smoke flavor when I cook on that because of the technology and the compact space. I wasn't expecting the same on my Pitboss 1600. To my pleasant surprise I got so much more smoke from these pellets than ANY other pellet that I have used. I have tried them all....I spent so much money trying to find the right pellet and I finally found it. Great job Smokin Pecan Pellets!!!👍🏾

I've been using the pecan shell pellets for like 6 months now and haven't looked back. They are superior

Great video, I just sat out a brisket yesterday and actually order a box of these pellets before I saw your video. Looking forward to trying them out!

For a better comparison you should do the pecan shells pallets and pecan wood pallets

Awesome vid and test! You save the rest of us money doing these tests. So i wonder how they woukd do mixed with wood pellets. Would it foul the cooker? Would it work and create a nice sweet spot?

I know pecans have a good amount of oils in them. Could it be smokier due to the natural oils in the pecan shells? If so that’s a huge benefit!

Is it TOO strong a flavor? Mesquite can be off-putting at times. It can get overpowering, especially on chicken, pork and fish. I might need to try these. $30 for a 20lb box is the same price I pay for a 40lb bag, so I can’t see these becoming my go-to at that price, but I’d try them

These pellets are also $30 for a 20-lb box. They may be smokier, but they're not exactly a good value. Lumberjack and Bear Mountain still deliver the best smoke-to-price ratio.

Say "Smokin' Joe's Pit BBQ" three times and he will magically appear. Use this information carefully. Either that or go to El Paso. He makes kick ass BBQ. Great comparison video Steve.

Since you said these have a mesquite type favor, you should do a head to head with a mesquite pellet to see how it compares.

Love your vids but let me correct you on one thing....A "pee-can" is what my grandparents used to keep under the bed in the winter time to keep from going to the out house at night. A "pi-kan" is used for making pies and apparently smoker pellets. Keep up the good work!

My concern is that if the pellets are burning slower, that would lead to a fire in the pellet grill. I have had this happen in the past so I tend to stick with the Traeger branded pellets

Would love to see you cold smoke salt in your pellet smoker and use that as dry brine compared to standard salt in two briskets smoked in a pellet smoker. Does smoked salt make it taste smokier?
Same question on Kamados.

Wonder how this smoke flavor compares to the LJ pellets + wood chunks in the smoke cage...
