I agree with him. A blend of different ETFs is my favorite way of investing. For example, you could have some covered call etfs for dividends and other etf`s for growth. A combination such as : JEPI, DIVO, QYLD, SCHD and JEPQ. You have to combine them according to your own personal situation. I tallied my dividends for the previous year; $102k. Blessed, grateful, disciplined and focused.

I could not possibly have more respect for a person than I have for Charlie and Warren. These two men have extraordinary integrity. And their willingness to share their valuable wisdom openly is just another example of that. The business world will likely never again see such leadership quality. People like Musk are brilliant, but sorely lacking in other respects, e.g. Maybe we'll get a sudden advancement in longevity science that will allow these two great men to stick around for another 100 we are going to need them more than ever in the decades ahead.

Charlie speak as an independent man. Its not as he need monies so he have no need to cheat anyone. His mind is sharp for a man almost 100.

Most people's brain would be tofu when they are in their 80s. Meanwhile there is Charlie Munger who is 99 and man's mind is still sharper than a blade.

that's why huawei is also a special company, even more so, CEO Ren kept 1% of the company, the other 99% is held in trust by all active employees of the company as profit sharing, huawei will never go public and the employees get huge fat bonuses at year end for their hard work, there is so much incentive to do hard work at huawei.

2008, the Hollywood movie, 'The Big Short.' As a lawyer, Charlie likely more than familiar with contracts. So, what then might the brokers be up too?

Okay but he’s saying that active trading doesn’t work and doesn’t beat the market yet he is beating the market with active trading…

I’ve put 100% of my 401k into an S&P 500 index plan since John Oliver’s investment episode a few years ago. My balance is twice my cost basis. That’s pretty good, right?

I think he’s describing Fisher Investments . If you have $500k or more give them a call.

Yeah I personally just invest following an index I believe will be profitable, I don't trust people moving things around because they get spooked or feel some type of fomo

One thing I don't agree him with is his praise of china. Covid, Muslim labor camps, overly aggressive economically and now taiwan and he still praises them. He doesn't want to ruin potential chinese business expansion

It amazes me greatly how I go from living an average lifestyle to making over 63k per month I've learned a lot over the past few years that there are plenty of opportunities in the financial markets; all it takes is just to focus on the right thing.

Munger is an extremely intelligent man, but taking his advice on shares can be a double edged sword.he pushed Alibaba from 140 down to 90, all the while buying more and more to cover losses, and then when it popped up to 110 he sold, didnt disclose it until a month later, while still promoting it as a good investment. Alibaba is at 82 now. He will spin the public for his own gain. He is an active trader just as much as a long term investor. Take some things he says with a grain of salt.

If public acts on Mungers’s suggestion & jettisoned equity MFs then P/E ratios of listed companies will go down by (say, half).
