My Wood Stove is my one simple pleasure in life. Nothing better than wood heat.

One thing I haven’t seen people talk about is a solar oven. Learn how to build one and then build it. I did and I have tested it out. They work very well.

I live in The Netherlands. To my astonishment, most people in my neighbourhood never consider a collapse possible. They are obedient slaves to a soulless system. Some see it's not going well, but it will never occur to them they are part of the problem as well: supporting a corrupt system with a hidden agenda.

Being 74 years old outlived all of my cousins I have inherited a ton of stuff. Camping was very popular when I was a kid- I have 7 Coleman stoves, 1 4 burner , 3 -3.burner and 2-2 burner. Coleman lanterns I have 6 of them, Coleman Ice Chest 10 of them. Unlimited fishing gear with hooks, sinkers and all kinds of Tackle along with reels and fishing poles. From Army tents to backpacking sleeping bags. Guns and ammunition, reloading equipment and all the components needed to reload. I could have never imagined that I would be the Last Man Standing in the Male linage of our Family’s.

Eric, sorry, but you forgot sleeping bags and warm blankets. If the grid goes down, they are kind of important!

Fire blankets are awesome, cheap and fast to deploy. Fire extinguisher are nice but they will be single use.

Insect repellents, fishing supplies, different size tarps and small baby pools for catching rainwater.

I have a small sewing kit but thought "what good will it be if I can't find my reading glasses"? I will now look for a folding pair to keep in my sewing kit.

For after collapse trading, remember the three "T"'s
Tobacco, tampons and toilet paper. They have almost unlimited shelf life, require no temperature controlled storage, and EVERYONE who walks by your house is going to want at least one of these items.

Very good list...can't really think of anything else other than extra blankets/merino wool base layers and extra sleeping cot/pillows for anyone you might want to share your home with. Older/disabled people who have been preparing for a while...and can not really manage to garden/cook/clean...as they use to...can house young folks with children that need help...and could not afford to prepare accordingly. Helping each other survive and having "family" helping each other. That is our prayer..

A small dental kit can make a big difference. A solar-powered battery charger, tarps, paracord, bow saw and splitting axe, games and books, music and movies. Preparing for everything takes a long time. Seems like forever. Shalom

The most important item is fresh water. I can live without abundant food. I can't live very long without water.

Great list! Don't forget your bible! ( You're going to need it!)

Don't forget your eyeglass repair kits. Sometimes it's just a tiny little screw that falls out that you need to replace. The repair kit has the tiny screwdrivers and the tiny screws. Dollar Tree used to sell them. They are in the section where the reading glasses are displayed in DT or Walmart or wherever. They can extend the use of your glasses that will prevent having to tape them with duct tape.

A great list. I would also add tape, glue, staples, Shoe Goo ( shoe repair glue). Oil filters and oil for cars . You can't store gas long but oil and filters should last. Anything for basic home repair .
