Such a heartbreak story. A fellow bird owner here. Losing a gray is certainly hurt, but sometimes we can't control or know everything. Remember that if it had a happy life, then you've given it a good one already.

This SCP always made me so sad. Many hugs Professor. Losing a pet is like losing a part of yourself. My dogs, Gabby and Harry are 21 and 20....so I know that they will be passing someday soon. It will hurt when they are gone, but they will always be with me. 💗

I *KNEW* it was an African Grey in the animation. In my opinion, that would be one of the hardest birds to lose, they're the smartest, most loving and they live pretty damn long. It'd literally be like losing an adopted child. And I know, it was miserable. R.I.P. to the best bird in the galaxy. 🖤💜💙

This really hits you hard, just like 2784. I really like these types of SCP above the others since they make you consider the world around you not in a way that makes you afraid, but makes you more considerate.

You could really add to this type with SCP 348
