I have the worlds biggest Axis and Allies setup, with over 1000 territories on my map, armies that number in the tens of millions, and I added an oil dimension to the game where you have to keep the units supplied with oil, and a census dimension to the game which means that the number of soldiers on the board is constantly diminishing, as they cannot be purchased with IPC's, unlike other equipment. The Armies have Colonels and Generals which enhances the performance of infantry units, while the navies have sailors, executive officers, captains, admirals, and grand admirals which enhance the performance of the fleet. For all that, the rules are actually simpler than the original Axis and Allies, because dice rolling has been cut to a minimum, although when a battle is waged, a breathtaking 300 dice are rolled on each side, and the casualties counted.
At any rate, your video was very informative, because I was contemplating buying Battle of the Bulge and bashing it for the US and German Supply trucks, so I could have heavy supply trucks that could also haul the heavy cannon. But as each side only has a crummy 4 or so supply trucks, unlike the 40 or so German pillboxes you get with the D-Day version, it just is not worth shelling out $30 for the game, even used.
Guess I will just have to try my luck at garage sales.

Those zig-zag cardboard pieces are used on the board to mark the front lines. This is a game I come back to every couple of years, I play both sides solo.

I have the original issue and it is very hard to win as the Americans. For play balance I altered each sides units slightly, I made two panzer grenadier divisions infantry divisions and added a few artillery pieces to the American divisions. This changed the Germans winning percentage from 90% to 50-50. Overall I like this game and have played it many times ie at Christmas time. The only gripe I have with the new version is the American supply trucks. My game has two and ah half ton trucks with four wheels in the back, and this game has only two wheels on the back and the trucks are smaller. But I'm sure Col. Hessler would not mind.

I still have an original copy of this, but plan on buying a Renagade copy when it releases! Is this a review copy? Front line-hex side marker pieces, not bunkers.

No gmc truck, i feel sick. If you make reprint or someting new then add someting new to make it more provocative to buy. Us trucks are shit, germans should have tiger 2 tank.
