When the game came out, I was planning to play it a lot and discover a lot of things about it. But because real life can be a bitch, my plans for that were thwarted, and I decided to just make a starting guide to help players who are new to this game and feel intimidated by it.

addition to the sleeping outside... look for butterflies put tent or anything at that location... 0 chance for ambush!

For Pistol Shrimps I usually just get right up in their face with a two-hander, Sprint to the side when they swipe and then roll when they raise their claw for a longer period of time which signifies their electric explosion attack. Hit em a few times and you can knock em to the ground and finish em in a flurry of swings.
