This line kept me going in football practice as a teen. It keeps me going now a grown man and a firefighter. Keeps me going as a father of 3 with a beautiful wife. Didn’t know hearing this as a kid would be the motto of life.

Going that one more round when you don't think you can thays what makes all the difference in your life. Took me at 37 to understand this after watching it a thousand times

What's great about this scene is not just that great line about going one more round. It's also when Rocky tells his son how he sometimes gets scared. It's great because on rocky 3, the beach scene, he can't admit, or he's too ashamed of being scared and afraid to admit it to Adrian or even himself. Then here on Rocky 4, he says it to his young son. Just a nice scene on great movie

This scene is the best rendering of a just-don't quit mindset I've ever heard in my 60 years.
Credit where it is due. That's some good writing.
This scene and the beach scene with Adrian in III are really well crafted insights into the character.
