I am a huge fan of this series. While I thought that it started off a little slow, when it gets to the antics it BRINGS THE D R A M A mama! I must say - Laurie Forest definitely knows how to create a cliffhanger - I gobbled up The Iron Flower [book 2] faster than pie on Thanksgiving day.
Obviously these are trying times right now. 2020 has not been very kind to many a person. When preparing this video, I found myself reflecting on the similarities between the real world and the fiction world with this novel. I hope that my content brings a little dark humor to you as the task of tackling some intense topics is attempted. Maybe it even helps start a dialogue. My hope is that the country shifts the opposite way of this book and that the world as a whole begins to change for the better.
