Something about the aesthetic of this game, I kept expecting to see it pop up something like "this room will take 1d 23h 59m to build, pay $1.99 to rush". Pleasantly surprised to be wrong. :)

When I drove school bus last year, I had a kid who lived at a motel the entire school year. 15 days for a hotel stay is less common here, but not unheard of

I worked in a Canadian Hotel. It was cold during the winter of course. They build more rooms to the existing hotel building. The first winter comes and the rooms froze. Who ever planned and installed the heating system made a mistake. The wrong valves were used and instead of opening the hot water supply to the fan coils, they closed it. It was a messy situation.

This reminded me A LOT of the old SimTower game from back in the 90s. I loved the concept, but I could never get it to workout right. The elevators were very wonky in it as I recall.
