In this video, I discuss the linux/unix 'tail' command and show how it can be used to extract that last few lines from a tail or stream. The tail command can also be used to 'follow' a file to automatically see when new lines are printed out. I also review a few use cases where 'tail' can be used to filter information in a shell pipe.
