These are the iPads that I think will get iOS 13, Its really the only thing that makes sense to me.

The Air 2 should definitely get iOS 13. The A8X chip is nearly twice as powerful as the A8. It also has triple core processors, even the 2017 iPad only has 2 cores. The Air 2 is still super capable of receiving iOS 13

Hope Air 2 gets IOS 13. IF they do not they kill 2 gens of AIR at once and Ipad mini 2 3 and 4 at once.. and an ipod that is still sold in stores.

With iOS 13, Apple is cutting off support for devices with 1GB of RAM or less. That means that, compared to iOS 11 and iOS 12, they're dropping support for the iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6 Plus. iPadOS 13 drops support for the iPad mini, mini 2, and mini 3, and the original iPad Air.

Imagine if this all changes and the iPhone 5s, iPad Mini 2 and the iPad Air all get iOS 13 along with their successors. That would be a new record for support.

I think all the iPads that have iOS 12 or 13 should keep on getting updates for more years. I also think all other iPads should be supported. That way it’s fair for people who can’t afford to get a new one

How about we presume everything with the A8 and 1GB Ram will not get iOS 13, while everything with the A8 and 2gb Ram, like the Apple TV 4 (which I own, and it absolutely sucks) and the iPad Air 2 will get iOS 13/ tvOS. Anyway, I'm pretty sure apple will NOT kill two generations of iPads/iPhones simultaneously, so all A8 devices must recieve iOS 13, and the Apple TV should get tvOS 14.

What I hope is for the first ipad pro to get not only ios 13 but also at least 14 and 15. Hope Apple does not cut 9x too early as that one has 4GB of Ram and could still have a long life without losing speed
