Today we are going to install Storage Spaces Direct on our Clustered nodes to create a hyper-converged setup for our webserver. This setup will give us some resiliency in case one our of nodes break down one day!

In this video, we install storage spaces direct, create a storage pool, create a virtual disk and create a volume on that disk.

Dude, you rock man. Been looking for this video for a while now. No one, except you, covers "how" to create the "S2D Storage Spaces Direct" shared storage for a clustered hyper-v deployment. Can't thank you enough. Looking forward to catching up on your other videos!

Thank you for your effort. I find the font too small to be read.

Good afternoon. A Storage Spaces Direct cluster was built from two Windows 2019 Datacenter machines. Windows flew on one of them, I had to reinstall it, the disks that participated in Storage Spaces Direct were not touched. Can the disks of this server be returned to Storage Spaces Direct?

Hi! thanks for the video, i have a question, how do you comunicate each server of the cluster between them, do you need a special switch? minimum speed?
