I am stuck at step 66 of the guide "StarWind Virtual SAN® Hyperconverged 2-Node Scenario with VMware vSphere 6.0", "Creating Datastores". I am able create the iSCSI DS1 and DS2 datastores on host 1/2. However, when I attempt to create DS1 and DS2 on host 2/2 there is only one datastore to choose from and I cannot rescan the VMFS. When attempting to rescan the VMFS the progress stays at 0%. Vcenter from then on out has issues connecting to the host and I keep getting errors with host connectivity. This only happens when I reach step 66 and begin creating the DS1 and DS2 shared datastores. I am not sure what I have done wrong as I have followed along with the guide word for word.

In order to have the VMkernal networks on a separate subnet from the management network don't you need a new gateway for the new subnet?

Hi there, I seem to be having quite an issue with setting up a Replication Partner for my device. I've followed each step carefully but when i arrive at the page which prompts me to Change Network Settings, the pop-up box gives me an empty page (meaning the columns of Interfaces, Networks, Synchronisation & Heartbeat appear with the message "There are no items to show." below. Are there any particular possibilities as to why i might be facing such an issue?

1) What version & build of Virtual SAN are you using ?2) Why not show a Production case scenario, using LSFS, Best-Practice, storage use/consume, dedup & defrag, failover, etc...?3) Thanks for the esxi fix from the esxi console, I did not know that one.[esxi console]
esxcli storage nmp device list
esxcli storage nmp psp roundrobin deviceconfig set --type=iops --iops=1 --device=<dev id>
esxcli storage nmp psp roundrobin deviceconfig set --type=iops --iops=1 --device=<dev id>[disk options]
= 5124) You have not really shown/demo anything really?      it's like setting up Virtual SAN v6 with imagedisk(flat files)Thanks.
