They should also be mandated to give refunds when passengers cancel within reasonable timelines instead of being forced to accept a credit that has an expiration date.

I remember Wardair and Canadian Pacific Airlines. Great service, great experience. I remember Air Canada being made public, and being a much larger airline they squashed CP in a long price war. Because AC was so much bigger, they could hold their breath longer than CP and CP collapsed. Then AC after this debacle, was in dire financial trouble of their own making and the federal government decided it was reasonable to have tax payers bail them out. Disgusting what the feds do.

WestJet is currently in the running for worst airline in Canada. Just one awful experience after another, compounded by their deceit and fraudulent behaviour. I recently filed a civil claim against them because they outright refuse to comply with APPR regulations. WestJet used to be my favourite airline, now they're a disgrace.

West jet ant nothing but a joke on thùrs my brother was kicked off his flight because he was sleeping but got woken up from someone that works on the plane was asked to please get off the plane for assuming he was intoxicated but he just exhausted from working hard and just trying to get home to sped time with kids and family already a day behind cause of delays .with that being said he had to take money out of his own pocket and rent a room for the night and it wasnt cheap the room was 400$ he also a regular customer with the job he does need help on what should be the next should be ?

I would like to be a part of this suit, as I'm very frustrated with west jet, they canceled our flight twice 2nd cancelation were we lining up to check in and we got an email saying out flight is canceled for the next 2 days due to crew shortage, till now we haven't gotten compensation

I used to LOVE WestJet and fly with them frequently, until they turned into Air Canada. I stopped flying with them about 15 years ago...

West jet has made me skittish for flying after their last strike and cancelations. They refused to help me and used the regular ways to shake me from getting what I am entitled too.

Westjet attendants are also horrible! And those stupid small hidden fees and no real comfort of traveling!

Westjet attendants are worst. I got yell By asking hot water and being pushed. Sent the complaint letter for few times but no respond.

Westjet was a great airline until the GREEDY fools at ONEX bought it. Customer service went to hell in a handbasket because the two major jerks at ONEX thought firing 10, 000 employees would save THEM money. The airline now SUCKS, flights from BC to Ontario are now an 8 hour trip with a 5 hr or more layover in Calgary! Wtf?!
