How to POSSIBLY Fix Google Drive Videos that Won't Play in Chrome

Learn how I fixed my Google Drive videos that didn't play in Chrome. If you're unable to play video in Google Drive, the solution might be to sign in to Chrome as a different user. For me specifically, I was signed into Chrome with my personal Gmail account, but trying to access videos on my G Suite Google Drive. By signing in to Chrome with my G Suite account, I was able to play all videos (MP4, MOV, etc.) from Google Drive.

Thank you! I am a teacher trying to teach virtually. I thought my self Google Meet session were not recording. Then I discovered that a video I made for the grads would not play. Realizing that my problem was with videos and Google Drive, I found your video after much searching. It works. BUT, Google needs to fix this.

In your cookies and data settings in Chrome, you must disable "Block third-party cookies." When you created a new user account, it was disabled, which is why it worked. It's unfortunate though, because I rather have the cookies blocked. And I'm not sure why google drive would be considered a third-party.

I have another alternative way if you can't still open the video:
1. Open Settings
2. Search for "Cookies"
3. Allow all cookies.
It works for me, hope this alternative way can be useful for you too :)

I'm confused. I made a new user but I can't sync it to my account cause, well, my account is already synced somewhere. So how exactly does this work? When I create a new user, it opens a new browser session, and if I try to switch back to my other account it just opens the old browser session again. I can't figure out how to even log out
