Quick reminder that our favourite officer only seems incompetent cause he's up agaisnt Lupin. Every time he goes against any other criminal in the franchise, he demolishes them in seconds and moves on to keep chasing his favorite target.

Is it just me, or is it surreal seeing a Japanese Animated Movie with English Voiceover with the art style of the lovechild of Megamind and the Incredibles?

Credit where it's due to Zenigata, he's actually pretty good at what he does. Unlike Jesse and James from Pokémon, he usually is able to predict Lupin's strategies, and doesn't make foolish mistakes. He's only failed so much because Lupin is truly a great foe and is good at improvisation.

I swear, Zenigata has to be the most persistent person in the world to keep chasing and following Lupin around the globe and always failing to catch him but constantly continues to try and do so.

This guy is a legend. In the cartoons he literally is a ninja with handcuffs. They captured him so well in this. Only he can throw mini-handcuffs across the room and handcuff your PINKIE FINGERS together.

I love that he’s actually a super-capable officer who could probably keep whatever city he decides to settle down in crime-free until retirement.

He just refuses to stop trying to catch the greatest thief alive.

Lupin’s dub has always been stellar. For once the english VAs get similar levels of emotion and expression into their voices as the Japanese instead of sounding really stiff and forced.

Always love Doug Erholtz as good ol’ Pops! Though there are times where I wonder what it would be like with Dan Lorge’s Zenigata in Lupin projects nowadays
