The thing is white supremacists throughout the latter half of the 1900s really did think Hitler had secretly escaped and that their glorious leader would rise to power once again. Lupin stating the historical reality of Hitler’s suicide with a laugh is the highlight of this whole interaction, like “were you asleep in class?”

You know, while I am absolutely down when it comes to clowning on neo nazi's who think Hitler secretly survived. But it is absolutely hilarious coming from Lupin, because he has met clones of Hitler! And this is absolutely the kind of universe where Hitler being alive isn't that crazy X'D
